More Hours, More Support: Meet Sam, Our New Bay Camp Instructor!
As we head into another sun-soaked Aqualand summer, we’re excited to announce that with Bay Camp growing, so is our adult staff! With extended hours now available, we’re welcoming more families—and more fun—than ever before. But with this growth comes one of our top priorities: keeping camp safe, supported, and full of heart. That’s why we’re stoked to introduce a new face to the Bay Camp crew: Samantha Dupray—or just "Sam" as your campers will know her!
Sam brings nearly two decades of seasonal lifeguarding experience to the team, including 10 years spent mentoring junior lifeguards. She’s a homeschooling mom of three with a passion for outdoor education and ocean safety. Whether she's leading confidence-building games in the sand or helping a camper get their sea legs in the water, Sam brings calm leadership, strong water skills, and a whole lot of heart to everything she does. When she’s not at the beach, you’ll probably find her adventuring off-road with her kids in their trusty blue truck, exploring mountain trails or cruising through the desert. That same spirit of curiosity and joy is exactly what she brings to Aqualand camp.
With longer days now available at Bay Camp, we’re making sure that every camper gets individual attention, trusted supervision, and a whole lot of encouragement. Sam will be with us for four weeks this season, so if you see her at drop-off or pickup, be sure to throw out a “Hi Sam!”—and know your campers are in great hands.
