AQUALAND Surf, Seal Training, Boogie Wonderland and Bay waterman camp is hiring for positions for our M-F morning/afternoon session this summer of 2026. The season is 11 weeks June - August. Applicants 16 & Up are encouraged to apply.

Pay is $$17-$30 an hour based on experience:

1. Camp Director (~30 hours/week)

2. Junior Guard Prep Instructor (~ 17.5 hours/week)

3. Surf Instructor (15-30 hours/week)

This is a family endeavor and the perfect candidate will match on both waterman skills and character.

Applicants MUST have SURF or OCEAN SAFETY experience as our surf location does not have a lifeguard chair. Very important as well is the ability to read and discern ocean conditions, lifeguard rescue/lifesaving certifications, being a STRONG SWIMMER, patience and enjoying time with children and an added enthusiasm to our family friendly surf business.

We are looking for adults with character and shared values who will model appropriate behavior and enthusiasm to our campers. We value integrity, trying our best, healthy living, staying positive and having fun. Our ideal candidate is an educator or lifeguard who surfs, understands safety, can manage large groups and wants a fun summer job.

Background checks are a must.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Maintaining a close watch on all campers to ensure a safe learning environment - Safety is #1

Working daily surf camp alongside other Aqualand instructors.

Dry land and in-water surf or Seal Training(Junior Guard) instruction.

Equipment Transportation and management (boards, water, tent etc.)

Appropriate maintenance of our location/working with lifeguards when they drive by/cleaning up and leading campers to do the same.

One weekly meeting or phone call after hours to discuss next week's agenda.

Salary: $16.50 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

•Monday to Friday

•No nights

•No weekends
