Whether you're a beginner looking to catch your first wave or an experienced surfer seeking to refine your skills at a prime location, Aqualand is the place to be! We have small class sizes, great instructors, and lots of stoke! Aqualand Surf camp offers the perfect environment for young surfers of all levels.

Weekly Camp Options:

  • Half Day: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

  • Full Day: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Our fantastic location at Aqualand Anderson Street provides clean water, consistent surf, and a crowd-free beach. With no blackball, your child can surf anytime conditions are safe, making for a more enjoyable and focused experience. Our attentive, safety-minded instructors are passionate about passing on the gift of water confidence to the next generation of surfers.

We offer various board options for every skill level, and campers can also bring their own foamie. Please remember to bring your own wetsuit for comfort and warmth. For safety, we do not allow hard boards.

WHERE: We meet on the greenbelt once you turn onto Anderson Street from PCH. If you are late, please walk your child to the beach. Please respect the neighbors.

$350 or $490 per week

REQUIREMENTS

Ages 8 & up - campers under 8 may request approval from camp leads (Bay or Seal Training) Please email info@aqualandofthefree.com with questions.

Campers must be able to swim independently in the ocean and follow instructor guidance.

WHAT TO BRING:
Plenty of Water
Snack (and Lunch for Full Day)
Rash Guard or t shirt for sun
Towel
Hat for sun
Sunscreen - please apply prior to arrival
Wetsuit (not required but recommended
if your child gets cold easily)
Hoodie/Sweatshirt
$25 if you would like us to give your child our optional uniform (shirt & hat). You may also purchase here and we will deliver it to them on Monday at camp.

CODE OF CONDUCT AND REMOVAL POLICIES FOR CAMPERS

Campers and class participants must adhere to behavioral expectations laid out by Aqualand staff which include but are not limited to:

  1. Respectful communication with staff

  2. Zero use of profanity

  3. Zero physical violence or unwanted physical contact with other campers - keep hands to themselves

  4. No throwing or kicking of sand

  5. Campers must stay with the group at all times

  6. Campers must participate in all activities 

  7. Campers must respond to verbal instructions and directions from staff i.e. it's time to get out of the water, do not go in the water etc.

  8. Campers must follow all direction given that is specific to the dynamic conditions and safety of surf activities, board safety and ocean activities.

Campers who are repeatedly unable to adhere to our code of conduct will participate in a parent and camper meeting with Aqualand staff.

Campers who continue to be unable to comply with our code of conduct will be removed from the remainder of camp at the discretion of Aqualand.

Aqualand reserves the right to remove any camper at any time and at our discretion.

Attending Aqualand is a privilege, not a right.
